NEW ORLEANS  — Today, the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission announced that it is seeking community organizations to partner with and host Movies in the Park events for fall 2018. The Movies in the Park program is a 10-week series of free family-friendly movies shown on Friday nights at locations throughout the City.

NORD and Chevron Present the 4th Annual Teen Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball

NEW ORLEANS – Today, the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission and Chevron will host the 4th annual Teen Mardi Gras Masquerade Ball. Led by the NORD Teen Council, the Masquerade Ball is free and open to teens ages 12-17. Similar to the adult parade krewes, the 2018 Teen Council Royal Court will be selected and crowned. Teens will have the opportunity to be exposed to a formal event, designed especially for them, that they can enjoy during the Mardi Gras season.
