Pee Wee Track and Field
Registration Now Open
NORD’s Pee Wee Track program introduces young athletes to the fundamentals of track and field. Participants learn proper running form, warm-ups, stretching, lane assignments, baton passing, and more.
Weekly events include at least two of the following:
- 30m sprint
- 50m sprint
- 70m sprint
- 100m
- 4×50m relay
- Standing long jump
- Softball throw

Every Thursday beginning March 19 and ending April 25
- March 19 - Pee Wee Track Starts - Harrell Track at 6:30 PM
- March 21 - Tune Up Meet at Joe W. Brown at 9:00 AM
- March 28 - Morris FX Jeff Relays at Morris F.X. Jeff at 9:00 AM
- April 11 - Elton Mimms Relays at Harrell Track at 9:00 AM (City-wide qualifying)
- April 18 - Track Citywide Meet at Joe Brown Victory Track at 9:00 AM
- April 25 - J. George Citywide Track Championship at Morris F.X. Jeff at 9:00 AM

Required Documents needed to register for every NORD sport:
- Athletics Registration Form
- NORD Consent for Health Care Form
- Athletics Player/Parent Contract and Code of Conduct
- Original Birth Certificate
- Proof of Orleans Parish Residence

Volunteer Coach Requirements for Baseball, Basketball, Cheerleading, Soccer, Softball, Track & Field, Volleyball
- Complete and submit a Volunteer Application
- Submit and clear a background check
- Attend all clinics, trainings and coaches meetings
