School’s out for summer! Now is the time to take advantage of the great weather and activities that make summer one of the most anticipated seasons. If you’re looking for quality programming and events to keep your family active and make this summer memorable, consider visiting your neighborhood park, pool, tennis, or rec center.
Summer 2027 Camp Partnership Application:
Community organizations and non-profit organizations interested in applying to become a NORD 2027 summer camp partner are invited to apply for partnership using the links below.

The requirements for programmatic partnerships are as follows:
- Two (2) years of proven experience performing and/or operating the specified area of programming, e.g.:
- Documented volunteer hours with the specified area of programming; and/or
- Documentation of performing and/or operation of a program in the specified focus area.
- Valid certification (if necessary)
- All onsite staff and volunteers must complete a “Darkness to Light” training – (An online child abuse awareness program); www.d2l.org
- NOPD criminal background checks on all onsite staff and volunteers, including furnished proof of checks to NORD for verification.
All interested applicants must attend one of the three (3) technical assistance workshops hosted by NORD. This workshop will review partnership expectations, application requirements, and outline the partnership process timeline.

Every summer NORD provides residents of New Orleans with an array of quality programming, classes, and events, all at no cost. From swimming lessons, family game nights, fishing, canoeing, summer sports leagues, piano, guitar, and dance lessons. There is something for everyone.
