Meet Griffin Eleby, NORD’s Employee of the Quarter

Griffin Eleby is a Laborer in NORD’s Facilities Department. Griffin has been working with NORD for four years and has been instrumental in managing and maintaining NORD parks and facilities across the City of New Orleans.
A native New Orleanian, Griffin was born and raised in Uptown New Orleans. He is a graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School. He served in the military for three years, and attended Delgado Community College for Business Administration.
Griffin has an extensive background in facilities management, business operations, and loves making a difference in the community. He spent years prior to joining NORDC working at Textron, one of the country’s top products and services companies of aircraft, defense, and industrial business. Over the years, Griffin has watched NORDC’s Facilities Department grow in size and overall productivity. He has vast experience working in professional services, and thoroughly enjoys giving back to the community. Griffin once owned his own janitorial business and was the proud owner of Pride Food Store prior to Katrina. Griffin has been married for 34 years and is the father of five and has 13 grandchildren. He enjoys spending time with family, and watching movies.
Griffin is a proud public servant, committed to the citizens of the City of Orleans and his team at NORD. Griffin was nominated as NORD’s Employee of the Quarter by a group of his peers. Congratulations Griffin and keep up the exceptional work!
