Family Game Nights

NORD and the Autism Society of Greater New Orleans present an evening full of fun activities for the whole family. Family Game Night provides an opportunity for all children, including those with special needs, to have fun, in a safe and accepting environment.  Register to attend the next family game night.

Monthly Game Night

An exclusive evening of family fun featuring traditional board games along with interactive and physical games. Enjoy educational activities, 3-point shooting contest, extreme tic-tactoe, relays, puzzles, card games, and more.

Glam U

Girls mentoring program focusing on confidence building. Runaway classes, fashion, makeup lessons, photo shoots, and more. $10/week or $30/month fee required. Tuition assistance is available based on income guidelines.

Heart to Heart

Girls mentoring program that will teach, empower, and inspire young ladies to make positive choices, and provide a safe and open platform for discussions. For information contact Tracy Peden at (504) 352-7392 or Cost: $35. Girls, ages 6-12..

Little Learners

Little Learners is a social skills development program for preschoolers and their parents, where preschoolers play, create, socialize, through exercises in exploration activities. For

Pre-Teen Essentials

Transitioning from pre-teen to teen can be challenging. Mentoring and education through Pre-Teen Essentials provides a positive space for girls to make this transition
and learn all the essentials to make this transition smooth. For more information or to register, email Girls, ages 10–13.

Prism Project

An inclusive performing arts program for children with and without special needs in the Greater New Orleans region. Youth participate in dance, music, singing and theatre,
and will help develop a play they will perform publicly at the end of the season. $40 registration fee. Ages 6–14.


Stay overnight at a NORD rec center. Kids will enjoy a night of basketball, dance parties, video games, board games, food, and friends! Dinner and breakfast provided.

Youth Fit Fest

The annual Youth Fitness Festival celebrates physical, mental, and social wellness. The event features fun fitness activities, interactive learning stations, health and dental screenings, healthy snack tastings, and more.
