Back to School Expo

Join us for our annual Back To School Expo in partnership with Urban League of Louisiana and The National Dental Association on  August 12 and August 19 as we give away free school supplies. Free youth dental screenings will be conducted at Joe W. Brown only. Plus, you can learn more about NORD programming and register for activities on site!  It is an event you don't want to miss!

Family Game Nights

NORD and the Autism Society of Greater New Orleans present an evening full of fun activities for the whole family. Family Game Night provides an opportunity for all children, including those with special needs, to have fun, in a safe and accepting environment.  Register to attend the next family game night.

Monthly Game Night

An exclusive evening of family fun featuring traditional board games along with interactive and physical games.  Enjoy educational activities, 3-point shooting contest, extreme tic-tac-toe, relays, puzzles, card games, and more.

Heart to Heart Girl Talk

Girls mentoring program that teaches, empowers, and encourages young ladies to make positive choices. $35 one time fee required.

Prism Project of Greater New Orleans

An inclusive performing arts program for children with and without special needs in Greater New Orleans area. Youth are offered the opportunity to engage in music, dance, and theatre training.

Glam U

Girls mentoring program focusing on confidence building. Runaway classes, fashion, makeup lessons, photo shoots, and more. $10/week or $30/month fee required. Tuition assistance is available based on income guidelines.

Soft NOLA

A mentoring and empowerment group for girls ages 7-17. Girls meet twice a month to enhance their social and life skills. Bonding is achieved through skill building, positive peer interactions, and community service. $60 one-time fee required. Payment installment plan available.

Youth Fit Fest

The annual Youth Fitness Festival celebrates physical, mental, and social wellness. The event features fun fitness activities, interactive learning stations, health and
dental screenings, healthy snack tastings, and more. 

Touch a Truck

First responders use specialized vehicles. Students participating in this program will have the opportunity to explore the vehicles and meet the men and women who keep us safe.
