NORD to Host its 5th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza This and Next Weekend

NEW ORLEANS — The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission will host its 5th annual, family-friendly Easter Eggstravaganza at Behrman Park (2529 Gen. Meyer Ave.) on Saturday, March 24, 2018, and at Joe W. Brown Memorial Park (5601 Read Blvd.) on Saturday, March 31, 2018. Activities will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both dates.

NORD Commission Calls on Community Partners to Expand Programming

NEW ORLEANS – The New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission is encouraging individuals, organizations or other entities in New Orleans to partner with NORD to provide programs to the community for fall 2018 and spring 2019 seasons. Providers can apply to host programs at select recreation centers, parks or playgrounds for value for value exchange. The deadline to apply is Thursday, March 29, 2018, by 5 p.m.

NORD Commission Invites Community Organizations to Host Fall 2018 Movies in the Park

NEW ORLEANS  — Today, the New Orleans Recreation Development (NORD) Commission announced that it is seeking community organizations to partner with and host Movies in the Park events for fall 2018. The Movies in the Park program is a 10-week series of free family-friendly movies shown on Friday nights at locations throughout the City.
